Hey everyone, I’m looking for some advice or recommendations on a new camera.  I’m taking a trip this summer and I figured I might use that as an excuse to replace my old camera that has been broken for a few years. 

If anyone knows a decent and wallet friendly camera I should look into, please let me know! I’m not looking for anything too fancy, I just figured I should probably get something a little better than my phone’s camera.

If you have any info write something here, or even better send it to my inbox so I don’t accidentally miss it.

Hmm, I thought I answered this.. Anyway, thank you! And no I don’t have any tattoos (sorry to disappoint).  I came to the conclusion that I’m too indecisive to pick something that will be on my body for the rest of my life.

Just taking a moment to say how awesome these cables are. I have ultegra on my bike and it changed everything about it. Before the Gore kit, shifting was like like pulling my derailleur through miles of the grainiest sand from the most disgusting beaches. The brakes were excellent don’t worry about those. After installing the Gore kit my shifting became electric ( not literally). Shifting my rear gears takes merely the force of pushing over the first domino in a 10,000 domino super set. But the most amazing feeling was the change in the front shifting. I don’t shift this often, but when I do I cherish every second of it. The movement up and down gears is the most buttery ass feeling ever. Also the cables are fully encased so I don’t need to worry about the cable friction wearing down my paint too much.

tl;dr- if you have Ultegra, it’s worth the $70~ to get the Gore kit.
